What vocation will you be most looking for when borrowing a pawn?
wondering what everyone is going to want for borrowing, wanting to make my pawn useful to everyone else

Create an hot white blonde girl with hourglass body, make her an archer and dont let her wear anything other than bow and arrow. Your pawn will be on top server list, believe me.

Healers are generally always picked up by people as a lot of folk might want their pawn to have a "cooler" job

But healers are usually the first type of pawn that most people create as they want to be the guy doing the cool stuff and feel that having their pawn play support would be most useful to themselves.

My pawn is either gonna be a mage or a ranger, I'm starting fighter then doing whatever it requires to get to mystic spearhand. For auxiliary pawns ill grab whatever my pawn isnt. I only ever do a 3 pawn party in DD1 as it helps with the exp rates.

You would think, thats certainly how I play (I make a healer so I know my pawn has real healing and support spells) but a lot of people just do stuff like Main char melee, pawn ranged or sorcerer

mage/sorcerer or fighter.

People usually pick the pawn that covers the weakness of their arisen. since i was mainly magic archer or sorcerer i always picked fighter or ranger pawns.

Warriors really suck in dd1 so i had to pass on those. i think they are much better here though. so we'll see.

Yeah I had a warrior pawn in the previous game and yeah I was not impressed. They have been talking a lot about improving the Warrior so I am hoping it isn't all just talk.

seems like most people are not bringing along a mage pawn, interesting

The most commonly made pawn for your main pawn will be mage. Because rented pawns, you get it however it's set up. Your own mage pawn, you can change elements, or swap out buffs. It's just more convenient to make your own. So pretty much everything else will be less common. I'll probably be hiring an Archer a lot, and Warrior or Sorcerer.

so what this thread is telling me is everyone is saying mage is the one pawn everyone will be renting, but mage is also the pawn everyone will be making for themselves.

conflicting info here

You've got like 20 votes total, and some are probably confusing "what you'll hire" with "what you'll make". And regardless, it's a small sample pool. The most commonly created main pawn when the game comes out, will undoubtedly be mage.

My Pawn will be maga as always, more support stuff, i like to have right support skill in control for my warrior/spearman arisen. With renting is hard to say, all would rent mage, but when they do mage themselfs, next will be ranger/rogue pawn. Mage/Sorc Arisens would need front lane. So it all depend which classes would be most in use.

I'm starting off as a mage(they had some healing spells) and my main pawn will be a fighter, to begin with.so to start with ill probably pick the other two classes I don't have. Later down the line when I become a sorcerer (they didn't have heals in first game). I will then hire a healer

Ultimately I like to switch classes and get passives from each, to bring over to another class. So I'll eventually be using a wide range of pawn classes. But obviously a healer is a must!

The most popular played classes early mid game will be Mystic Spearhand and Warrior. That means people will want Mage, Archer, Fighter (I think) the most. I think people will choose to make mage the most. But they'll still be the most popular 3 for hiring I think.
