I think the best eiditor for characters of all time was Oblivion. The sliders worked in such a way that if you move one slider in one direction, the game moves another slider in another direction to counter balance the change. But the cool thing about the sliders is that the offset of the opposing slider was not equal to the players slider. Meaning you can inch the sliders away slowly back and fourth to diverge/converge the results. That would allow you to make a skyscraper for a nose, you can make a hot pink glowing creature, you can make the hunchback of notre dame with a glowing green mane.

I preferred to make my character look like a smurf. It was hilarious.
