Isnt a 3050 similar to a 1070? I am not sure how the numbering convention works 100%, but I do know the current 80 series and previous 90 series have been about on par with each other for a while. If the GPUs extrapolate like that then that would put him at min recommended specs.

a 3050 seems to be slower than a 1070 by almost 10%. so it really depends on if you're okay with dropping frames from 30 at minimal settings.

The biggest issue with the 3050 is its only 6gb vram and it calls for 8gb min.

This may be a deal breaker.

BUt if you did buy, and it don't work, you can refund easy.

It should but if it has 6gb VRAM might need to put some settings to low.

Ya but I think that increase in VRAM can be easily minimized by playing with native 1080p.

I think VRAM goes up with resolution? I guess it depends on if objects are stored in memory after they extrapolate the data or before. Not certain but it should be easy to test.

i think it won't run because of the lack of vram but i'll have just to try it

Resolution, textures and ray tracing are the most demanding, shadows moderate demand, and then anything else has small impact.

I have an RTX 3050 myself and it has run all of Capcom's RE Engine titles just fine with high settings at 1080p or 1440. Also, 6GB? My 3050 has 8GB VRAM.
