Ultra wide support ?
Will this game support the best way to experience gaming that is Ultra wide resolution ?

I want support for Ultra-wide Cut-scene , Gameplay UI with proper aspect ratio just like how BG3 supports which is much smaller company compare to capcom.

Calling BG3 and larian indie is a bit disingenuous they had more funding and support for that game then most AAA games will ever get haha

Love BG3 and larians great but not the greatest example xD

Lol nobody uses ultra wide monitors. Such a niche.. 1440p 27 inch or 4k 32 inch for gaming or 5k 27 to 32 for professional use

I love Larian and BG3 as well, but this here is just not true.

27” is too small for 4-5k
Ultrawide is great experience, but i guess people open their silly mouths without actually trying out one.

Resident Evil village supports widescreen, there's no technical reason why this game should be any different

I hope for your sake it does. Ultrawide is superior. Unfortunately, too many companies don't utilize it and far more screw it up. Like all Star Wars titles for instance taking a 21:9 resolution, cropping it to 16:9 for a cutscene... then cropping that cutscene to... 21:9. I said enough of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and bought a better 16:9. It's sad, but it's just the way it is.

I mean when you consider they sold between 2-5milliin copies during EA estimates only so from sales alone that's between 120million-300million in funds.

Most companies don't get the luxury of having their game fully funded before its even a full game. On the other hand it's estimated roughly 2% of gamers in 2023 had ultrawide monitors... so a company not going out of their way to make it a feature is hardly surprising, I hope they did for those who do, but they really shouldn't expect it lol

They are though. They are an independent video game developer AND publisher. THE definition of an "indie-studio" my guy.

While they are independent they are not a traditional "Indie" Studio. They have funds and a very loyal customer base.

Last 3 RE games had UW support. It's actually quite easy to add. There's about 4 million steam users on UW.

Yeah, if they wanna add it they should, but it's still a large minority. That's just something you have to be aware of if you do use UW you can't just demand it haha be aware of what your purchasing and all.
Other recent Capcom games I've played all have it, so unless this particular dev has a collective stroke (given some of their highly questionable choices for the game, might actually be the case), I don't think they will not add UW support.
