Yes. You just get a different skin for those camping kits, which is unlocked in the merchant’s stores. But you can also buy camping kits without the Deluxe version, no problem.

I think its just a skin of your camp; you 100% can camp without the deluxe version. Its a central mechanic for exploring the world.

Just out of curiosity are these kits a consumable or no?

Yep, consumables. But you can buy new ones from merchants. But they are quite heavy (logically), so you can’t carry around dozens at once.

My bad, I explained myself poorly, I wanted to say/know if once I have used a single kit, I can always go back to the same camp to rest, so that I can have a resting place during farming/leveling, or if, on the contrary, I will have to use a new kit, since the previous one will "disassembles itself" after sleeping.

Camps disassemble themselves after use, yes. You'd have to use a new camping kit to set up camp. They're more tools for exploration so you can push onward, not so much you placing spots to farm stuff.

Anyone know if camping does more than just pass the time and replenish the Loss Gauge?
Does cooking food do more than replenish health and clear debilitations. Camping might be a bad idea if you have items that can rot (fish/meat) instead of putting them in storage as fast as possible.

Maybe you can dismiss pawns with gifting there so you don't have to throw them in the brine. Might be a waste of a tent just for that tho.

Cooking gives you a badass cooking animation and gives you a buff for the next day. Camping is also where you can change out your skills apparently.

Everything is available in the game, these items in the deluxe version are just prenium skins, nothing else.

hh I just read that the cooking scenes are actual real footage of cooking instead of CGI.

Always felt like it looked real just with light softening filters.
Yeah, by 'animation' I meant...just watching some good steak sizzle. xD

I finished first game without using camps. Only later I found out they exist.
