If you noticed the writing on the ring it actually confirms it came from LOTR, maybe they need to change the font of the writing to look different like maybe a glow like the scar.

All deluxe items might change before release as it says. If I remember I remember a article saying the ring or necklace will give you 2x speed on the caravan travel. But not sure if that article was BS or not. To much BS on net

i think the ring is suppose to let you have less punishement when you die. for example, you might be able to keep some of your gold
