I think he's implying that some of the people here are from a discord server about people who like children in a romantic way. If so he should report said server to the authorities instead of lurking in said server. To me it doesn't seem likely, It's only a small handful of people talking in this threads.
Makes you wonder how he even got into one of those servers in the fist place if true. But I think he's just using it as a way to discredit anyone who opposes him like how some people scream racist whenever you say something they don't like.

Shudder the thought. One of my main things when hiring pawns is if they look atrocious, i don't even consider hiring them, and there were quite a few sketchy, minimum height silk lingerie pawns i ran into i cringed at.

The character creator looks quite good, hopefully the rumours are true of a demo so that I can prepare a character for full release rather then spending a few hours at launch making a character.

The game is compromised sadly, not only height was tampered with, but male and female options were predictably removed, there goes any hope I had for this game.

also yeah that cringe body type in character creation is also a disappointment. Like someone else said your sex had in game effects as well like enraging the ogres. I'm so tired of western garbage being pushed on everyone...

To be fair that was underutilized, outside of the shadow fort I don't think they used it again elsewhere and the only advantage to being small was stamina regen and making a small character was like putting the game on hard mode due to how often you'd miss weak points on enemies unless you played one of the magick classes.

Also yeah, don't know how they are going to handle ogre now as it was an actual mechanic where it would focus female character when calm but would focus male when enraged.

If we get a demo and fight some monsters to warm up, we probably just pick among some preset characters? I think it was like that in the DD1 demo too, wasn't it?

Don't forget elder Ogre went for males, but when in-game you only really notice these quirk behaviors at low level and even then the pawns had to it point out saying it. Ogres get curbstomped at level 200 so you don't get to see any of it manifest in a meaningful way.

Also I get the pawns are not allowed to say "female" or "male" anymore as it might be a bigoted micro-agression, given they went out of their way to remove that from the character creation screen. So I expect the ogres not to behave like that anymore and any references to be removed.

True, but outside of those area, i hope that the smallest character we will able to do in DD2 will have the same speed and stamina regen as the smallest and lightest from DD1

Minimum height is average height for females irl (162 cm). No short/tall character dynamics. I won't say I didn't expect this current year ♥♥♥♥, so I wasn't hyped much for this game anyway. Well, time to move on and save myself the 70 dollars. It's clear they've been chasing a different audience with this game, rather than fans of the original game.

When will these people learn that the whole point of character creator is to make your own doll with which to play dress-up, and no one wants to play with an uggo manbeast doll. Gross. HARD PASS.
