It's really very ugly and outdated, see 0:14 Lutz's head is broken, the bald npc inside the window is very poorly done, no shadows or light on him, the interface looks like crap, look at the "Level Up" window, hahah very ugly at 03:51 Claus NPC has no light effects on him just an exquisite shine making him look like a plastic doll, the colors of the game world are very dull, it doesn't even look colorful, nature looks very ugly and dead overall, like the grass being square and it can be visible all around. Sorry guys, the game might be fun, but it's really bad to look at.

Sure, it's not as breathtaking as when I first saw Witcher 3 2015/Crysis in 2007 or the last of us on the PS3, but honestly, it's been a long time since I've seen something that really surprised me graphically.

Its alright. Its look like a modern game at least.

The graphics look great. 5 years from now, games probably won't look much better. The fights and interactions with monsters feel very dynamic, and the character customization will be amazing. That's what sold the first game.

As i said, im sure it will be fun, becouse the first indeed was fun and i enjoyed play that. But the graphic of this game is very outdated and ugly, and at this point almost with the foot in the release door, i doubt something magic will happen to fix this.
Actually this game looks like a MOD of the first DD1 with a few graphics optimization and nothing else.
So thats it, it will be fun on it gameplay, but not a good world immersion where you feel wondered by the beauty of the world. Very ugly game for a new gen era. Cap have the money, the team, the engine to go beyond, theres no excuse for this graphics.

I played both games (the OG Wicher 3 from 2015, not the enhanced edition you posted which isn't that much older than DD2 btw) and, while being aesthetically pleasing to me, both had their strong points and their flaws from a technical and aesthetical standpoint, as I'm sure will be the case with DD2.

More to the point, wouldn't it be wiser to just write that YOU, subjectively, don't like the graphic style of DD2 while others might, instead of calling it "ugly"?
