PSA on price
For those complaining about price, Fanatical is currently letting you pre-order keys for $58.09 USD. Never had an issue using their service. Go order it there and save.

I think the best thing to do is just wait about 1 year after release. First that gives other players time to make Pawns that will have experience to help you out. Second there will be a sale at some point and this game will be considerably less by then. Also most likely any and all DLC will already be released by then and all will be packaged into a discounted deluxe edition. As for me I'm willing to wait. Already waited 10 years so if need be another 5 won't hurt and by then you will get it dirt cheap and practically all bugs fixed. So let the "hardcore rager" gamers play it first if they please let the company profit off that 70 bucks. I'll play it smart. Didn't pick up Skyrim til after it got a 10 buck discount. Didn't play HL2 right away either. Took me about 3 years to aquire a good PC just to play that but I played it and all episodes probably around 20 times by now.

Just have patience playing it today vs tomorrow doesn't matter. What matters is that it gets release then the countdown begins.
Eh all depends on what you want. Always get the best deal but never pre-order. If you wanna play a game on day 1 after you get reviews and see that the thing isn't a dumpster fire all the power to ya. If you wanna wait for a sale thats fine too. Just don't get gouged on the "new pricing model" of games. ♥♥♥♥ paying $70 for a title.

agreed, its probably gonna run really rough on a lot of systems considering the minimum system requirements require something better than what the majority on steam has. even on console footage the game appeared stuttery at times

minimum i5-10500 is already more than what i got sadly lol. and considering the most people rock a rtx3060 even that is not meeting the recommended system requirements of a rtx2080 which performs 24% better on userbenchmark

eh, ive been buying on random sites for countless of years now, and never been scammed once. the worst things that can happen is you not receiving your key and then getting refunded(like that garbage mmoga website), or the key selling website asking for a photo of your ID, which u can also refuse and then get refunded

The three sites I know to be legit are humble bundle, GoG, and Fanatical. I'm sure there are more but do your research before buying on any of em.
