I already have a midtower PC, unfortunately I can't bring it with me. SO as I said, I'm currently gaming on this laptop for the unforseen future. What are my chances of playing this game? any example of a similar situation??

If you live in one place - PC is superior, of course. Otherwise, a gaming laptop is the only option.

gaming laptops aren't all bad, you just have to know what you're buying before you buy it.

plus what yorha said. some people travel a lot and a tower can't always come with.

I will take all of your answer as a " You will not even see the title on the screen".

Yeah I wouldn't bother - this game will be the new litmus test for high end gaming PCs with those specs.

IMO, you will technically be able to "run" the game, as in open the game up. Run it at an acceptable performance (that won't make you want to throw your laptop out of the window) is a whole other thing. The lack of vram will hobble performance greatly and if your laptop does not have a ssd to install the game on, it will be much worse. In such a scenario, I can't see you running at a stable 30 at 1080p even if you turned down all the settings to the lowest (which might look ugly). You will likely experience a lot of stutters and pop ins, resulting in many BS deaths.

One way out would be to run it at 720p at the absolute lowest settings while enabling dlss/fsr. If the game doesn't have dlss/fsr, you are SOL.

I feel like high graphics and ray tracing is just an excuse for bad optimization nowadays. We don't need to take real life photos in the game, we need the game to be playable.

It's really hard to tell your chances of running it with a laptop rtx 3050. Performance wise it's not much worse than a gtx 1070 or rx 5500 xt, but it has half the vram, and since they are "requiring" 8gb vram for 1080p (unknown settings), you should wait until launch and find a benchmark video with your GPU on youtube before buying.
Your GPU has enough vram to run capcom latest game (RE4), but this game could be substantially different with vram usage, in theory I can't imagine it not running at least with the lowest shadows/texture settings, then again wait for some videos about it.
