Rift Crystals were used to hire pawns in the first game...
But also on BBI DLC, you had to use rift crystals to unlock/purify gears and weapons/armors.
Kind of iffy. But if they do implement Micro-transactions, there are always mods to bypass.
Or... Grinding methods that will eventually show up for the console players.

the deluxe edition of DD1 also gave you 1500 rift crystals, and that had no microtransactions either.

having said that, 1500rift crystals is chum change.... it's literally not worth it, atleast not in the economy of DD1.

2 hours!!! Get ready!
People can make their characters before and if it's as horrible as doomers are trying to make it look you can refund disasters at any time spent. Valve has done that with really big flops.

There are some reviews out and PC performance articles already.
Looks like the game is CPU bound. It will require some muscle to run at higher than 30fps 4k (looks like a 3080 is a minimum for that matter) but running at lower resolutions will work nicely.

Graphic cards may have less impact than the cpu, especially in high npc concentration areas.

That's how they are acquired. Defeating enemies especially during quests. The Deluxe just starts you off with some for early items.

If it's anything like the first game, which also had microtransactions in the form of buying rift crystals, you should be able to just get hundreds of thousands of RC by just playing the game normally. They're not needed outside of renting pawns from other players.

This rift crystal are easy to come by my pawn was bring home 10's of thousand per hire. I didn't ask how she earned so much.

Its actually the vram on GPU that effects frames. When you go into the game and to graphics. It shows the vram impact at the bottom right. Not CPU heavy at all.

Yep, everything in deluxe you get easy in the game. I got it only cause I got it cheaper than standard price. Plus I wanted item to change pawn inclination if I wanted to change it til I find vendors. Cause at the start I'll have a support pawn than I'll swap to full damage were it charges in

If they were talented enough to make the game similar to the first, rift crystals will be abundant.

Yep, same with gold. Hiring pawns same level cost nothing. So all the complainers don't even know the first game
