Kind of iffy. But if they do implement Micro-transactions, there are always mods to bypass.
Or... Grinding methods that will eventually show up for the console players.
having said that, 1500rift crystals is chum change.... it's literally not worth it, atleast not in the economy of DD1.

Looks like the game is CPU bound. It will require some muscle to run at higher than 30fps 4k (looks like a 3080 is a minimum for that matter) but running at lower resolutions will work nicely.
Graphic cards may have less impact than the cpu, especially in high npc concentration areas.
That's how they are acquired. Defeating enemies especially during quests. The Deluxe just starts you off with some for early items.
This rift crystal are easy to come by my pawn was bring home 10's of thousand per hire. I didn't ask how she earned so much.
