Microtransactions.

Do you guys think DD2 will have microtransactions?

I really hope they will not implement a system like that.
I would gladly pay money for DLC content, i hope they go down that road.
MTX will impact gameplay i fear as seen in many other games. And more often gameplay has to suffer for it.

What do you think? Is there any real concern to be had?
I mean it's 2023 and microtransactions are rampant and sort of the new normal right?

Dragon's dogma and Dragon's dogma dark arisen used to have a lot of microtransactions, MhW and MhR have quite a lot too. It wouldn't surprise me to see microtransactions in this game.

You could buy rift crytals in DDDA. This isn't as much microtransactions as we could have in the original game or in the 2 last mh, but it is still microtransactions.

I don't remember the rift crystals in DDDA because I actually don't buy 'em.

i remember the RC and quest board microtransaction from when i played the game on my xbox. as long as it stay the same i wont mind.
As long as they stick to their usual formula + what capcom do (cosmetic and such) everything should be fine

Considering how they attacked the modding community im pretty sure they already have an destiny 2 style ingame shop where you can buy outfits for the price of an another new game. Greedy publishers dont like competition even if it would help them keeping alive their product.

The first game did but only for the dlc and only for rift crystals, which were easy enough to get in on your own once you got good at the dlc
