Do mods not work with the non steam COH version?

I can't seem to get mods working anymore any help? I try Blitzkrieg,Eastern Front and Modern Combat but can't seem to get them working anymore.

Yes, but it can be difficult to launch them as you will encounter the relic login screen. Unless you have a CD I don't know of any other ways.

The mods do work fine with the New Steam Version however.

When did you encounter this problem? I haven't played Easter Front mod on the New Steam version for around 3 months so something may have changed.

Pretty much when the new steam Version came out all mods i installed just stop working for me.

You may have to either:

Re-download the mod into the "Coh Relaunch" folder on your computer.

Download the latest patch for the mod, enabling the mod to run on the New Steam Version, and relocate the mod into the CoH relaunch folder, and make new shortcuts so you can launch the game easily.

It took the Eastern Front developers a couple of weeks to make their mod compatible with the New Steam version. I gave up trying to move the mod around in the folder in my computer and make new shortcuts etc, so I just downloaded their latest version of their mod into the CoH relaunch folder and it worked like a charm.

You may, or may not know that THQ went bankrupt, the old servers went offline and the mods you try and launch attempt to connect to the old servers which are non-existant.

What do you mean the Coh Relaunch?

You need to download Company of Heroes New Steam Version if you haven't already.

Company of Heroes New Steam Version is in a folder called CoH-Relaunch from what I remember. While the other CoH games will be in THQ or Company of Heroes folders within your steamaaps folder.

The default directory goes something like this.

C:/Users/Programefilesx86/Steam/SteamApps/Common/CoHrelaunch.

When you launch CoH New Steam Version it uses the data from the CoH relaunch folder, and not any of the other CoH folder which you have on your computer.

When downloading the mod it will ask where you want it to go, so put it in the CoH Relaunch folder.
