Boy it took me about 20 rounds to beat Goro on MK1 and another 30 or so to beat Shang Tsung. While playing MK2 i barely manage to get through the first 2 combatants... Is the difficulty bugged or what? i tried to mess around with it but no luck..
Did your tactic work for this version specifically?
@Silver Surfer and most others,
Yer same story with me.
I dont think developing strategies to beat obviously broken computer AI could possibly ramp up one's skill level in PvP fighting games.
BTW the computer is not only able to read commands and counter, they can also perform rapid move execution bypassing cool-down times.
There was a way to beat MK2 stupidly easy with Sub Zero though. You just did ground freeze > uppercut > ground freeze where they land > uppercut > ???? > profit.
There should be a setting for arcade impossible mode for those who enjoy getting destroyed and a mode that's beatable, like, for instance, a difficulty setting that makes a difference!
I should have read this thread before I bought this. Wasted money.
