Final Bomb Defusing. Need help please!

So at end of game you have to enter a four sequence code than a bigger code. I believe that it is also randomly generated so that you can't memorise the pattern. I've attempted it a dozen times or more and I'm terrible and can't do it fast enough. I'd just like to finish the game. Any suggestions at all would be appreciated. Thank you.

Don't know if you have it by now, but there really isn't any "trick" to it that I can think of. Yes, it does appear to be randomized on each encounter, so unfortunately you just have to keep trying. I think they probably could've (or rather, should've) gone with something slightly different for a final puzzle as there are some people that have difficulties with staying focused under a timer (myself included). Either way, it took me close to a dozen attempts before I finally lucked out and got it with 1.79 secs left on the clock. :p

Actually, one thing that just occured to me (I kind of took it for granted at the time), but you can also use the arrow keys on your keyboard instead of clicking on the buttons. That may help a little, if you weren't already aware of it.

I just got lucky on my second try, with 1,36 seconds left.

One thing I noticed though: While the first sequence was completely different both times, the first four digits (or whatever) of the second sequence were the same during both tries. I only got up to the fourth digit on my first try, so I don't know if the whole sequence was actually the same. So it might just have been a complete coincidence... and then again it might not have been...

In any case, I got lucky with the second sequence because it was very easy to remember: right, down, right, down, down, down, and up (I think). So just keep trying and it should work itself out ;)

That was total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I couldn't tell you how many times it took to finally get it. It's totally random and absurd. I thought I could write down what worked and then just go with that, only to find out it was different each attempt.

It certainly doesn't fit in with the rest of the game and finishes off an otherwise pretty good game with a bizarre and obnoxious ending. Ridiculous!

In fact, the whole damn ending was outrageous from the moment you get in that little gunship.

Glad that Volition went down - with such an ending. Completely arbitrary. You neither need skill nor any kind of puzzle strategy.

I was annoyed at first too, because my memory is not that great too but then i read the hint with using keyboard arrows here, and with that i made it 2 tries later.
Seems my fingers have a better memory then my head
But seriously, i think, using fingers is another way of memorizing then using eyes, so..might help you guys.

I got it on my 2nd try with 6.09 seconds left on the clock. Being randomized makes it way harder. My first try I only got thru 2 codes on the 2nd group before the bomb went off. When I went down the elevator I though EOS was a merc and shot her... Oops!
