So I'm trying to download this on windows 10 from the provided site. I click on the link and nothing happens, it does abosulutly nothing. Whats going on? I just want to play this game, please help.

I was finally able to download pure faction, but where do i need to install pure faction? Every option that i tried to save it wouldn't allow it? i tried to make a new folder and download it there, but it still wouldnt download it

The installation directory should be your RF directory. I'm not sure but there is a problem with a newer Windows 10 version and the latest Pure Faction. It might not work.

BRT Cobra, I know the gme itself works on windows 10, Im just trying to download it for multiplayer purposes and also, the half screen thing bothers me.

So when i download pure faction, I cant save it to any folder. i've literally tried everything and everything is grey and unavailable when I try to install it in the selected folder. What do I need to do??

Pure faction versions 3.0C and D won't work on windows 10. I have been able to use just the original PF 3.0 to play but you won't be able to use the auto download. You can also use another patch called Dash Faction which requires patch 1.20 to work.

wow cant believe you still play the original Red Faction. so with this Pure faction u can play deathmatches against humans? how many are online?

when i tried to download pure faction I get a warning the patch is infected. dangerous download (virus) It does not work with steam.

go to faction files, get DASH faction, apparently works after anniversary update, im checking it out once the game is downloaded

I have downloaded it 5 minutes ago and it works, but the only thing that changes in singleplayer is the posibility of use 1080p and in this resolution you can't read the text. Finally I'm using 1280x1024 like I was using in the normal version. No changes using Pure Faction, only in multiplayer mode (I'm not interested on it). The original Steam version runs perfect using Windows 10 64bits.

I was having a problem with DASH, extreme stuttering, fixed issue by turning off vsync, limiting frames to 120fps instead of 60, and increasing buffer memory to 128mb, sorted it for me
