Will this Series learn from its Mistakes?

In the previous games review, I posted: "The first game had a story which was intriguing, with a plot that is hard to forget... However, the game-play loop was quickly repetitive and rather boring. Meanwhile MLW also starts with a good premise, but the game-play loop is so much more repetitive to the point of being painful. It seemed the team learned nothing from the reviews of the first game which hammered the idea that the game-play needed to feel like more than just a grind simulator." ...
