SAME ISSUE

I know that I'm necroing an old thread, but in case anyone is still reading this one, I was able to get Vantage running -- sort of -- on Windows 11, but first validating the Vantage installation... I tried launching it here, but it still would not run, gave some sort of "instance already running" error... rebooted, and was able to start it up after that. however, it crashed badly, ironically, during the "Crash and Burn Physics" test, with a Visual C++ runtime error that I was not able to break out of, and had to reboot from a three finger salute to clear it.

I'm not sure what version of the C++ runtimes it is looking for, and I doubt that UL / Futuremark is going to offer any assistance for this one any longer. I do also have Steam running on Windows 10 and Windows 7 builds, and am going to try Vantage on these to see what I get -- will report back.

I'm going to also add that running this on Windows 11 ended up corrupting the 516.94 drivers, probably due to the reboot after the crash, and I ended up having to uninstall, DDU clean, and reinstall them. Everything is back to normal, but that's the last time I ever run Vantage on the W11 build.

Vantage still appears to work fine with Windows 7. For Windows 10, I got the benchmark to run to completion for both Performance and Extreme presets, but I saw corruption in the graphics when running Extreme (the water in the Jane Nash scene in particular was really messed up). The GPU in the Windows 10 build is a GTX 1660 Super, 516.94 drivers.
