Taking forever to load?

I just installed it on my deck and the loading seems to take FOREVER.

Any idea why?

Not working with ProtonGE either, wtf. Used the recent ersion tho, not sure if some fix it.

same here, it does eventually load, but it takes a looooooong time
seems to play good, but after you go to the boss - the game crashes, unfortunately

Not supported on Deck, Framerate is the cause.

If anyone does work out how to run this game past the first boss on the steam deck (without installing windows) it would be hugely appreciated if they share how.

Works flawlessly when you install Protontricks and install dotnet40 through it to the game. Make sure to include the steam game launch option protontricks 205230 dotnet40 and switch to Proton 5.0-10 before that. Been playing a couple levels these past couple days and it works with no problem

After doing that it does seem to fix it for me, decreasing the load time to 5 - 10 seconds. After completing the game on the steam deck though, I found out that the video cutscenes don't work though. I don't know any workaround for that.

According to someone on the proton github, it has something to do with the devs setting the loading time fps to 12 and windows with fast disk access manages to load it up before it takes effect

Either with slower disk or fast disk, it load fine on windows tho. Steam Deck disk is fast too!

Doesn't work for me, it won't even start with this Proton version.
