First time use feedback
Hi all

As with a couple of posts below, have been playing this for 1 season. Enjoying it but here are some suggestions for immersion.

As with one of the posts below would def recommend the 70's points system (i.e. 9 points down to 1 point for 6th), scoring a single point in a season would be a massive result for the back markers. Would also agree that about more retirements per race.

Would also prefer it if the season followed the overall pattern of races, i.e South Africa, South American first, Europe in the middle and Canada, US at the end.

One other thing - keep being caught out with not being able to see what the other teams are choosing for tyres and then not being able to change to match them. This is a big issue on races with changing weather on the edge on dry/damp/wet. A few times I've picked wets and realised everyone else is on intermediates (or vice versa) and it pretty much means the race is wasted straight away.

Great stuff through - would love to see a turbo boost version for the mid 80's

Agree with the being able to see what tyres other teams are fitting. Especially for newer players, it’s very tough to get a read on what’s *too* wet for slicks, or where you can safely gamble on starting on inters on a drying track - the wetness meter definitely helps, but it’s tough to feel good about making a marginal call and finding out that you’re the only two cars on the grid running those tyres and you’re going to be 30s behind by the end of the first lap!
It’s also never something that goes the other way - in my experience, the AI doesn’t make those incorrect choices in marginal situations, they’re always on the right tyre, so it’s not one that I feel unduly gives the player an advantage by knowing.
Thanks for the feedback!

For the calendar (track order) and scoring, you can change it as you wish via a mod.

For the tyres, you can see them in real time in the standings panel. There's a wet range indicator in the tyre tooltip that shows if the tyre is ideal for the current weather. Or do you mean you can't see other teams in the set strategy screen before the race?
Hi there

Yes, you can't see what the other teams have selected. This can be tricky when the weather can marginal between slicks and inters, or inters and full wets. There are a few times where I've gone for inters to find all the grid have gone for wets for example.

At the moment the only thing you can do is exit the game and restart and choose your tyres again.
Hi! Even before the race, you can see the predicted water on track in the driver panel graph, and if you hold the mouse cursor over a tyre icon you'll see a tooltip showing if the tyre fits the wet range.

Sometimes the water on track during the first 3-4 laps of the race is not enough for wet tyres (the wet range indicator will be inside intermediate, but very close to wet), but the weather forecast predicts more water on track after lap 3. In those cases it might be better to start with wet tyres instead of intermediate which will make you do a pit stop after 3-4 laps.

(weather projection)
true but that part is on different screen and tire selection making me click 2 screens back. little bit more convinience goes a long way in general.

also absolutley in favour for real points systems and maybe smaller teams or temporary teams per races could be fun idea.

Practice season 69 maybe only partake in two random races as privateer with single driver could also be handy, a lot of focus on helping people graps little wierd things like having to first put tires on before sending formula out (which is unintuitive - starting the session without ability to immediatley go out, i suspect opening wheel selection as session start might help? - i am trying to avoid the currently implemented situation where game says i need to click send out the car without seeing the button annywhere but also need for complex wall of text in general... highlight the tune button as its opening at the start of quali too maybe but i am no dessigner just thinking of what i suspect might've helped me)
