Game crashes @ Try playing now.

hello. I bought game today, downloaded and installed it, installed drivers for the real tone cable, created a profile, got to the part Try playing now. After playing a few notes there the game crashes. I have soundmax hd audio builtin soundcard. When i do as the Audio Device Configuration tells me, I dont get to pick soundmax integrated high definition audio - instead I get to choose Speakers: High definition audio device, when i choose to show inactivated devices i can see "Headphones - High Definition Audio Device". And when I go to advanced @ "Speakers - high definition audio device" I don't get the option Signal enhancement features. What is wrong and how do I solve this?

My computer specs: AMD Athlon 64 x2 6400+, 4gb ram, win 7 ultimate 64, Gigabyte NVIDIA 260 GTX 896 mb.

It only works with stereo, so make sure your sound card is set to stereo. Also make sure exclusive control is enabled, it wants complete control of the sound card.

Did you ever find a fix? I purchased the game today, installed it, tuned it, and then it crashes when it asks to verify tunning. WTF?

You do have dual cores or more, right? I know single cores crash around that point.
