The Real Tone cable works, but sometimes RS forgets that.

I haven't seen my problem in any troubleshooting guide, so I'm wondering if it's just me at this point. Can anyone relate (and is there a way to solve it)?

When plugged in, sound is playing clearly from the guitar through the game.
-BUT-
The game itself doesn't give me credit for any notes that I'm playing, even though I can clearly hear my bass or guitar playing through the game.

The solution I've found so far is to unplug the cable at the point where the adapter is (not at the USB port), wait a sec, then plug it back in. Sometimes, it works for the remainder of the session; sometimes it only lasts for the rest of the song. And sometimes adjusting the tuning can be enough to cause this problem. It's annoying; especially if I'm playing in Master Mode, because I can hear myself playing through my headphones, but the game thinks I'm missing every note, and I have no way of knowing until after the song on Master Mode is over.

I should mention that this problem only seems to occur on the original Rocksmith. It doesn't happen on Remastered.
