How do I get flamethrower

It's at BR 3. You just have to do the research that precedes it on the line and that of the flamethrower (and buy them) to play it.

Good luck getting close to using it, ever.

First you will either die to the follow: tanks, bombs, rockets, strafe-runs, snipers, mines, inf rail guns with 50+ bullets, grenades, artillery, more artillery. If I left some element of danger out feel free to add.

Even if you do use it as intended, aka not being the first to the attacking point but waiting for your team to get there first and start clearing rooms / bunkers once you get there, you will probably not live long enough to even get to the points.

This is a dying simulator not a ww2 simulator, you will die often, very very often then you have to wait to use that class again. Flanking doesn't work because most of the enemy teams use both flanks to farm player by sitting in houses and behind protections at the sides of the point.

Good luck you will find it's a waste of time and resources to unlock it.
Just camp points / areas around point you will soon enough see a wave of bots and that is Enlisted in a nutshell.

Have fun, like that is humanly possible. If you enjoy dying in video games you will simply LOVE Enlisted.

For everyone skeptical of what I've said, try to say alive walking a straight line to a point upon spawning and see how long you'll make it my bet is less than 30 sec. And you will sure as heck not be able to defend yourself with a limited range flamethrower.

Doing that in any game will just get you killed, what point are you trying to make here?
I've gotten 30+ kills in under a minute with the flamethrower before, you just need to know how to get to the point moving from cover to cover, like with any short range weapon.
Here's another time where I got 20 in a single multikill streak.
