This happens when real Gaijin takes over the game and Warthuderfied it with their plane fetish.
Same thing has been happening with other factions as well bud, had many many matches as Germany where it was nothing but enemy jet kills. I am just going to blame the people who could have gone AA but didn't want to or bother to be AA when there was a jet player around.
I remember, quite a while back, when the Devs gave off the idea that they wanted a WW2 game. Now, most of the guns are prototypes, or small-production run niche weapons that either weren't used, or kept to specific, non-WW2 purposes (policing, research, etc), jets are flying overhead, and they still pretend its a WW2 game.

I said, years ago, they were pushing in this direction, and instead of pretending to care about historical accuracy they should just let Japan fight Russia, give us Cold War weapons (and many early CW tanks), and just cast off the idea of being WW2. So... Instead... they still pretend to be a "WW2" game, and act like they aren't heading in the same direction I called them out for going in.

I wanted to like Enlisted, but gave up once with Assault Rifle prototypes and battlepasses started rolling out. The 'Merge' was a good idea, but the rest have been hand-over-fist in the wrong direction they said they were setting out for.
"Not historically accurate" *gives USSR prototype AKs*
"Not historically accurate" *gives Japan nonexistent weapons*
"Not historically accurate"... Jets... Name me two jet designs that seen combat in WW2.

not a nerf, but a BR6 would be good, they kinda rushed it, so instead of adding post war stuff properly along with tanks korean war tanks T-54 T-46 and post war infantry squads they added jet fighters stand alone, which results in very unbalanced results especially for the ussr and japan. the kikka had 2 working prototypes one with guns and one without guns, the Su-9 was a single working prototype, the meteor was also not used in combat and the P-80A5 is a post war jet, the only one which is properly added is the 262.

Its worth mentioning tho that germans and japan wont have any new jets for a very long time after ww2 military arsenal in general they start rebuilding in 1954 and 1955 respectively, grinding USA and USSR is your best best if you want to play future content.

I can name you more than two jet designs which saw combat hold on.

If we dont go into deep detail there are a lot of jet designs which were seen in combat during ww2 however they are all german, america also had 2 prototype jets but none of them were used in combat neither in euorpe or japan.

He-162
Me-163
Ho-229
Me-262
Ar-234
Ju-287
Do-335(jet engines with props)
----
Super Prototypes - This is a list of flight ready prototypes but they might not be very useful, since the most of them have no guns, however some are quite powerful.

Me 328 (2 combat missions flown). Bombs only
He-178 (1939) no Armament
Fi-103 (Manned V-1) No Armament/kamikaze/reconnaisance
BF-109 TL (Its a jet powered Bf-109) probably not used in combat
Ba 349 Armament: 33x R4M unguided rockets, saw limited use
Fa 223 (This is not a jet but a helicopter but could technically be added to enlisted imagine it as mobile respawn lol, it was the only combat capable one but not used in combat however it was used in 2 other operations) light armament and bombs.

These are all flight ready ones with evidence i could find.

1. Gloster Meteor (Allies)
2. Me262 (and other German jets)

Kinda disappointed to see other jets in-game that either were prototypes, experimental, or did not see combat-- not sure if it's for balancing reasons or just to ensue chaos, but it stinks. Japan doesn't deserve jets, nor do the Soviets, all due respect. Like sure, the F-80A-5 deployed to Italy in WW2, but it saw no combat, it was just recon missions and experimentation.

yes there were some jets in service but thats not the topic

the game mechanic to reload midair makes jets massivly powerful becouse they simply can do it way faster and are harder to shoot down too

there are no map AA und the ones you can build are ♥♥♥♥

Really that is what the devs should do, is make more usable emplacements in the maps, we already have usable cars in all of the maps and usable boats and machinegun nests in some maps. Hell in the japan maps you can find usable lunge mines. Would be nice also if they added in some usable ammo crates, grenade crates, and medic crates.

Since they have prototype jets only finished a while after the war, why not also add in prototype SAM missiles also finished a while after the war?
