or are new players limited to just bot matches?
like i can just park my tank in the middle of the objective and nothing happens
its just mowing down troops that walk around in groups with no resistance.
same as infantry just bold action pop pop pop till out of ammo 2 minutes later.
i dunno if i have seen a single unit that looked to not be a bot.

Lobbies are filled with bots when there are not enough players.

Newer players generally get gifted more bot matches to help them familiarize themselves with the game and get the necessary XP to get better gear.

Tier III+ if you park your tank two feet out of your spawn, a cheeky bastard with TNT will blow you up 99% of the time

Sort of, the squad members that you aren't controlling are controlled by AI. The same thing applies to the enemy.

First 1-3 matches (depending on how you do) will usually be only other new players and bots. after that it is based on your equipment for matchmaking. Please note: there is no SBMM in Enlisted, so you do get paired with players that are very bad ... and very good ... but mostly bad. if there isnt enough for the game after a while it will fill with bots.

Yeah it's just when you just started playing the game, after about 50 or so matches that is when it levels out and you get the most (sad to say) real people, which is typically half of what a normal lobby holds, if lucky, you could get a full lobby of real players; although I doubt it would be any better than playing with half a lobby.

Lucky or have been around for a while. But my first like five matches were bots with two players. It's where most people think all matches are, either that they have never done more than 10 matches, or they just got so used to those first five matches, and made up their mind for the next 400 hours lol.
