GAME IS STILL BROKEN

I've posted about this before but i'm mentioning it again cuz I don't think the devs care. But maybe they'll prove me wrong.

I've had an issue with my game. I go to play it and steam says its playing but it's not actually starting up. I try to start it up and steam tells me that it's already running when it's not. I exit steam completely and open it up but it says the game is still running. I tell steam to manually shut down the game and after an entire day, it still won't shut down. I use the task manager to shut the game down but it won't shut down. The only thing that works is restarting my computer and that only fixes it 50% of the time.

i've tried adjusting the grahpics to every setting and it still won't start up.

I've tried reinstalling the game and that didn't work.

I've tried verifying the integrity of the game files. that still didn't work.

So i've legit tried everything I can think of. Not only is it not working but no one out there seems to have an answer for my problem. I don't know why this is happening or how to fix it and I'd really like to know if anyone else is having this issue and how to fix it. Or if the devs could just fix it cuz i'm pretty sure it's the game.

ok, there is possibly a lot going on here

Does this happen on other games or enlisted only?
Do you have generic peripherals that have bad drivers? (had a aldi graphics tablet at 1 stage couldn't start any game until i moved the cursor with it)
What are your PC specs? (if task manager ain't killing it you might have some slow hardware or faulty)

It's a brand new PC bought with current gen config. All drivers are updated etc. etc. It only happens to enlisted, no other games have this issue which is why it leads me to believe it's this games fault. I've installed and played over a dozen different games of various types (probably more actually) since I first discovered this issue and it's still an "Enlisted" isolated incident.

Happens to me too, relatively new PC with up to date specs. The game only opens half the time. If it doesn't open, closing down the instance in Task Manager isn't enough, have to restart the computer and roll the dice again. This is the only game that does this. It's been reported a couple times on the subreddit before in the past months; kind of surprising the problem hasn't been identified and fixed by now.

yeah exactly. So we just need more people to mention it here, maybe the devs will see it and realize it's a legit issue for more than just one isolated incident. Thanks for posting

Cool you posted it did you report it though? I mean you can post a ton of ♥♥♥♥ but this isn't the bug report forum its steam ♥♥♥♥ show forum. Might as well posted on 4chan and expeted a dev to get back to you...

What it needs is some one to REPORT it sigh. You can report bugs on discord and threw other means, its not one isolated incident but issue is your to use to if you shout maybe some one wille help you but this is like shouting in the park down street from the store you had issue going "why no manger come by? Maybe I should shout more if more of us shout they come right!?"

While other people are like "uh why didn't you go to customer service desk or call the number or use the email they got listed for help from corprate "I dont' want use my phone, and I hate lines! And email I am not giving them that!" Its like dude what? Ok then then compalin but this isn't even a bug report its just you complaining on a steam forum that is just an everyday thing and why its kind of pain the butt to expect devs to read all the ♥♥♥♥ posts, and respond indivdually. You guys have some kind cheat code when cheat code is literally use the website

This issue has already been reported several times on Gaijin's community bug reports tracker, which a simple Google search would also have shown you. No need to be self-righteous. Last time I reported a different bug to Gaijin I never got a response, and had to find a workaround on my own. Simply put, there are a lot of other games out there to play, so I have no problem waiting until they solve the issue that's been reported multiple times on numerous platforms that they monitor instead of wasting my time again.

Highly unlikely given this is the only game it happens with. Some people have drawn a connection to there possibly being an issue with EasyAntiCheat, but personally I haven't noticed a correlation (and both Squad 44 and Hell Let Loose, which also use EasyAntiCheat, work fine).

Hey!! This has been happening to me too. Brand new laptop, up to date specs. Only works/launches half the time. And then it still thinks its running after task manger nukes it. So weird,
