If they removed the bots, Enlisted would be another generic WW2 game.

Not even the top WW2 FPS, Hell Let Loose or Battlefield V with bigger advertising budget couldnt reach page 1.

HLL is an old man role playing game, and Battlefield V is an arcade game with high TTK, BF1 is way better, but not the same setting. There is no other WW2 game like this alive on steam.
Bots only distract you from the real players, give away your position and block your line of fire, some casuals like the guy above you like it because it makes him feels like he is getting kills, but most players drop this game because of them.

They'd have to increase player count if they got rid of bots, also one of my main issues with this game is how small and boxed in maps are. The cancer of trying to cross a bridge as your only option with Germans on the other side blowing you to pieces. Also would like it if they nerfed the marking system and got rid of tank aim assist. Lastly making the game feel less clunky + add more gore.

Well, as far as I know, there is a game mode where you play only against players, but not in the official servers, but about bots giving away your position and blocking your line of fire, you could just give them a command to stand back behind a wall or something while you advance, most of the times it works okay, they can still get exposed and killed, but at least are not bothering you. But of course, you would still kill a lot of bots instead of players, which I think most people who play don't mind because it's somewhat less stressful than something more competitive imo.

Bots are only reason peopel even try this lol if you don't like bots go cut some lawns and buy an FPS lol. Its like going "what would make this top of steam charts if we just got rid of all guns!" Its like the hell? I mean legit with out bots there is ton of PAID games that would still be above this one wouldn't change a damn thing it loses its one key difference and you see player count drop lol

I remember watching videos to learn about this game before trying it and one person had a clip of them clearing a point against a bunch of bots that just stood there looking at him... the bots did nothing but the video creator sure felt cool mowing down the passive bots that wouldn't even pass for "easy" difficulty in any other game with bots/AI.

Killing bots in this game should be a war crime. They want nothing to do with this war, they never harmed anyone, they're pacifists... they only serve as target practice for the sick bastards that like to bully things that can't defend themselves.

bots make it too easy, like shooting fish in a barrel.

I was 71/5 k/d then the game had a disconnect error, gg i'm off to play hell let loose.

bots are the fun part. and you have to pick the real player out first, cull the bots then player. build sandbags at objectives for easy assists, ping enemies, and empty #$%# bucket every day.

the ai just needs to be reworked completely. they can see, track and shoot you through foliage (regardless of where as long as your about 60m away) , they can instantly 180 melee you even if they never saw you, they have the biggest inconsistency with targeting a player or ai because they will either stand still and stare or they all lock on like a sentry gun. their path finding is awful too they wont jump out of a window on the 1st floor of a building or climb down the ruble they followed you up even if its the easiest way, they will run all the way around to find the front door. that all combined with the fact they get stuck a lot in spots its messy but wish it was improved because there really isnt another game like this one that i enjoy sm
