cursor able to leave game while playing
Every time i play this (or warthunder) I have an issue where my cursor keeps moving to my second screen whenever i look right. I play in fullscreen mode, run two displays (primary left, secondary right), and i am running Linux but that is likely not the issue because warthunder did the same thing on windows before i switched. I don't know why, but these games allow the cursor to leave the game window even when there is no cursor onscreen.

worst part is when it happens right as i get a dude perfectly lined up in my sights and when i click it goes to a different window instead of shooting him

This is a common issue with War Thunder on Linux and I guess the same happens in this game because they use the same engine. What's most likely happening is that you are on Wayland instead of X11 (the windowing system of your distribution). Unfortunately the game does not natively support Wayland which for some reason creates issue with the mouse capture. I am pretty sure that if you switch to X11 the game will correctly grab the mouse. It is sad to see as X11 is slowly being phased out from new linux distributions in favor of Wayland, so it would be nice if the engine added support for it to fix these small but very impactful issues.

My current solution to prevent this from happening, if I don't want to restart my session to switch to X11, is to move my side monitor exactly at the top-left corner of the central monitor, that way it becomes extremely unlikely for my mouse to accidentally end up on the other monitor (as you need to precisely hit the corner for that to happen). Although then it becomes inconvenient to move my mouse to the other monitor when I need to, but I got used to it so it's not that difficult anymore. Not really a solution but it works if you want to play the game. I really hope they fix this soon in both games.

thanks. kinda weird they don't support wayland yet considering x11 has been being replaced for years. hope they add support soon.
