New player here.

Hello! I just discovered this game and am really liking it, however I am getting absolutely WRECKED by dudes with automatic guns while my humble squad has bolt action rifles. Could any of you toss me some advice on how to avoid getting krumped by machine guns?

Also i noticed i can make a custom match me and my friends but we unfortunately can not be on the same team to do a good ol bot stomp. Is there a way to actually do that?

Thanks everyone for the advice. I tried to play some customs matches by myself and had a lot of fun but the exp being knee capped is a huge HUGE let down. Unfortunately I don't personally don't think this game is any different than any other war game where you can spam a machine gun. The ai squads really shine when there are few or np other humans around where they are up agenst other bots. That was very fun but it would take way too long to unlock anything else. Sucks for me I guess. 💔

Did you happen to buy any premium squads that are a higher Battle Rating? You may be getting tiered up because of it.

that or he is having trouble with sub machine guns and engineer built emplacements

for now try not to get too close and use range to your advantage, your bolt rifles can 1 shot enemies they need at least 3 to kill you, the more used to those rifles the easier close range shooting becomes

do not underestimate the bolt action, its a 1 hit kill with most of them, add the bolt action perk and its a very good way to kkkkilll

There is full auto at BR1 smgs are full auto. Also you can see the br2 LMGs, but a lot of people don't realize you also get SMGs at BR1 its first thing by defualt you unlock even. But I seen this a lot my two friends that play I was there for theri first match and they were freaking out going "why they got full autos!" Its like dude you full autos at end of this match or end of next one with your score just hold on you get SMGs very very soon.

Nope haven't bought a thing yet. I'm not sure what the br means. Battle rating i assume? I've played about 6 hours so if that's all it takes to get out of br one then I guess?

I have the medic squads fully fitted out with smgs and all that but I still get wrecked when I go onto the point. I'm not upset by it. It's a free game and hip firing auto gun using vets are just part of the territory.

BR basically is 1-5 and it changes depending on your equipment, do you happen to have a br 3 weapon equipped? that happened to me when i was starting

your br is shown as a yellow roman numeral near the top middle of the screen when in menu, i would recommend staying in br1 until you get the hang of things because br2 is full of sweats

Thanks everyone for the helpful answers. I'll be sure to check if I'm using any weapons other than br1. However no one has touched my second question yet lol. When I make a custom match my friend and I cannot be on the same team. When I go to start it it says the teams are not balanced, we just want to play the two of us in a match with no other players. Is this not possible? (Would be a real shame if it isn't imo)

I think the best choice for you is choose the faction you really like and unlock the medic squad 1st which you allow you access to the 1st smg. Use and upgrade the medic squad and research at least 9 tier 1 weapons. Make sure your 1st tier 2 weapon you can research is the smg line because it allow you to use the assaulter squad, for German it's the 2nd smg, and you can replace the medic squad with that. Try to learn how to shoot the bolt action at close range without aiming. Btw smg can only be use by certain classes like medic, assaulter, apc driver, etc.

GUYS one thing i don't think you understand #`1 your health pool for a fresh troop no Perk is 10, you max this out to 13 i think, that means smg 2 3 hit's Bolt action 1 hit just look at the damage dealt per bullet now if you hit arm leg damage is reduced if you hit body 100% damage Hit head insta kill the troops don't have alot of health and yea RUN AND GUN and Spawn again
