HOW DOES THE BR SYSTEM WORK?

I'm a little confused. I was at BR 1 then moved up to BR 2. Game said searching for match i'd find someone within BR 1-3. Okay fine. then I go up to BR 3 once I got my first sherman (Favorite tank) and now it says 2-5. Okay fine but why? why not just put 1 against 1-2. 2 against 2-3. 3 against 3-4. And 5 for it's own separate thing. Cuz...let's face it if you're at 5 then you shouldn't be fighting against anyone under that.

the point is, it's really frustrating when you first get into BR3 and you only have the ONE thing that makes you BR 3 and then get wrecked by your enemies.

Also, WHY DOESN'T ANYONE EVER DO OBJECTIVE??? It's so damn frustrating. All day my teammates (america) didn't defend objectives, didn't push to take objectives and we kept losing! It's so frustrating.

welp the br depends on how many ppl are playing each br but due to lack of players on specific brs is not a +0 so how does work is as a hard rule br1-2 ,br2-3 and br3-5 (yes br3 can either face only br2 and br3 or in the opposite direction br3 to br5 wich one called high br and the other low br)for sofl rule if there are enought ppl the matchmaking will try to pair ppl with the same br or just do a +1 but that never happen

It's as much as being on the objective, as it around it denying enemies getting on it.

Yeah but most saying this are not denying them ♥♥♥♥, they camping the side, and picking off a few stragglers, pretending they are helping while defenders are seeing massive waves. If you gonna go off objective yo ushould be hunting spawners, and sqaud wiping people most are not doing that, they just camping a route less traveled, and not really helping out...

As for some games that you play you have to take into account for Bots being on your team. The Devs do a "Great job" masking the declining player count by putting bots into the matches with "real" names so you don't know if they are bots unless you watch how they move and act. The BR system is crap I would recommend putting the Sherman back into the box until you have enough squads to contend with the higher BRs. There is a "Soft rule" that up tiers you into higher level match at random. So if your BR 2 then you could get matched with BR 5, why? Just because.

Because there is not enough online to support it without creating crazy waiting times.

And because the whole point of BR system is to force unfair games on you. Getting unfair games should encourage you to grind (ideally - pay) to get into BR5. And BR5 gear costs way, way higher than low BR one...

The greatest irony is even BR5 does not guarantee you fair games, because it's once again dependent on online. Since it puts you into 3-5 games you can get mostly 3s on your team with mostly 5s on the other team and lose still.

Because Enlisted does not encourage playing for objective and teamwork, and it doesn't encourage winning.

What it encourages is score, the game wants you to be a score slave because that's what progression depends on - marathon events requiring 20k score every other day the most egregious example.

If you want to progress at a steady pace, the best thing you could do is spend the whole game in a tank/plane farming kills. Heck, sometimes it's borderline mandatory, with daily tasks like place top 1 on your team, be battle hero etc. You will never be top 1 on your team if you spend the whole game building rally points with pathetic 30 score / spawn.

Being on objective does give you more silver apparently

Yawn meanwhile simple fact check it went up 5% in october, 1.79% in september. In fact since it hit steam it hasn't gone down, only up not one time.

Sorry to break this to you but many f2p players are worse then bots, like a ton of people you assume are so bad they must be bots are actually just bad players. And no there is no br 2 sees 5 when is the last time you played it was br 3 COULD and its only if they can't find any BR 2, BR 3, or BR 4 players waiting for people you get sucked into a 5. I mean 1 can't even see br 3 anymore because of recent change, and 2 I never seen a 5 on two just super rarely at 3.

You probally had some br3 gear like a grenade launcher that you can get in tier 2, but says br 3 equipped or something else like that like that that is 3 or higher but lower tier tech unlock. Just like you can find BR2 weapons in tier 3.

And sherman is a br3 not 2, and honestly minus vehicles i can do pretty decent in br 5 match with br3 weapons only scarry thing is the LMGs, and if you playing german the br 5 thompsons. And you should always be ready for the next br bracket when you move up that is jsut common sense even with br2 you bring out one BR 2 squad with only one good br2 weapon you get curb stomped most the time. Like I didnt' take out br 3 till I had a br 3 semi auto for the germans unlocked, and I did fine just using the VG 1 5. Same deal I dont' even got the good US semi auto and did fine with just the first Thompson, and BAR lmgs.

Key thing when going up a tier really is get the next tiers anti tank weapon I got the panzerfaust last for br 3 germans and not gonna lie it really slowed things dow I would done better if I got it first, just like USA I got the m9 Bazooka first and while rearly used it, it really does make diffrence as up tierd they still generally work, you just might have to shoot at sides and avoid front on shot at a tank.
