Moving Enlisted to Steam(Please HELP)

I got enlisted installed via their internet site and since now it launched on steam i wanted to move it to here,do i have to reinstall it completelly or is there a way to make steam see already downloaded files,also is there a way for steam to detect mine already putten in amount of hours into the game?

When I got it on steam it let me sign in with my old account

You will have to install from scratch, but you will be able to link your steam account to your Gaijin account and transfer over your progress to the new install

my son is having the same problem with enlisted ( Xbox to PC ) and when he looked it up giajin said that all transfers are on hold for now because of some sort of backlog. he sent an email day before yesterday and got an automated response saying it could take a week or longer for them to answer. he tried to lo log into his account and transfer but it said he was not allowed to do it ( hence the email thinking he was banned or some other reason )

You can't transfer progress between platforms (Xbox, Playstation, PC/Steam) in Enlisted.
So you can't link your existing xbox account to Steam, only a pc account.

my son got a reply from them today and they said " no console accounts can be transferred at all to PC you have to start from scratch." we just spent 7 hours playing together but he had to be on his xbox in order to use his progress otherwise , we would of been grinding to get him caught up to where he was plus he would lose his purchases as well. dont know why they did this you could do it before but lots has changed since the last time i played it.

As far as i know, Enlisted never supported cross-progression between platforms (nor account transfer, nor linking). You are probably confusing it with other Gaijin games, where it's possible to link accounts between platforms.

when will they add cross-progression? I want to the game again but my account is on xbox and im now on PC so why would I restart the hundreds of hours.

6 months later and they still havent added cross progression, Big L, not gonna start over when i have everything u locked on console, ♥♥♥♥ Enlisted
