So when do your bots become useful?

squad of 10 infantry, all level 4, none of them can get a single kill all game.

The whole SHTICK of this game is leading bots. & they all suck ass.

Use marking to point them in the direction of the enemy. That will up their chances of a kill. Also issue orders to make them hold back to act as extra lives or send them forward as cannon fodder.

You can send AT bots to attack tanks now too.

I never send them to front. I always give command to hold at a point away from front so that when I die I can use them as extra life...once in a while they do get kills. Today I got killed by an enemy player and my bot bayoneted him xD

There are a lot of new players at the moment. Probably best just to persevere.

They... don't, become useful. They do sometimes get kills if you give them automatic weapons (and ideally also mark targets), but you won't really feel that. Outside of being free points for the other team to harvest their only productive use is various cheeze strategies. Stuff like doing grenade barrage with the entire squad, laying entire mine fields by yourself (which the enemy won't have a chance to spot and disarm because the matches are too hectic and the objectives are tiny), etc.

The bots are probably the most retarded AI I've seen in a video game in a while.

If you're playing with mouse and keyboard, hold Y key and at the lower right side of the radial that pops up, you can change their stance to aggressive. This makes it so they attack enemies on sight (within a reasonable distance).

There are three stances. Passive, standard and aggressive. The stance is set to standard from the get-go, so you have to change it yourself.

You can also change their formation. Close, standard and wide formations are available.

Um hide behind a rock and then order ur ai to stand inside objective. While ur ai is inside the said obj you can throw a grenade and kill anyone inside as well hopefully capping the obj.

The engineers are useful, put a rally point down and press X on the rally and they will build it.

You can also use them to cap objectives and even fuse or defuse bombs.

But most the time they are going to be used as revenge kill since you know where your main char died from.

Seriously though. I've watched the AI just decide not to shoot at enemies ten feet away. I don't even need the AI to be accurate or smart, I just need them to SHOOT AT LITERALLY ANYTHING

Yawn guy who camps and doesn't do points or build ralllies detected. We get it you sit back, maybe grey zone camp, and wonder why when you dont' fight on points you lose the game lol I see this all time I just won a game where enemy best player had 6 I had about 3k just under and was 2 for my team, and boy was he emo. Its like I defended points you were HE spaming defenders mostly bots, and if you would HE spammed the points you would won lol But that would required him to not grey zoned camp lol.

Same deal seen my team lose some one get insane points but its dude in a tank who isn't fighting on point or even really support the team fighting on point he is just picking people off on one flank who are wide open with his tank from get this the grey zone again. Then of course he said he was carring us, its like dude 2/3 you points were bots and were the attackers not them, you didn't do anything when they dug into the assualt points defending hard and you off killing newbs while rest of use are fighting points covered in barbwire and sand bags you could HE to hell and back only to find ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MGs adn SMGs laying on the ground shooting us down, I mean one HE shell from your tank into a window or doorway could turned the tide BUT his tank would be open to enemy counter attack so he said ♥♥♥♥ that lol

yap yap yap tard boy, I played objective & I built rallies & I did everything else, I've stopped playing this game like most people. I found out the other 9 players on my team were also bots. the "players" are not real. its a dead game.
