How is this multiplayer? Is it coop?
If its coop, I'd pick it up.

no co-op and im not sure if multi player is alive or not, maybe someone else can answer that

Multiplayer is RIP, due to Gamespy shutting down. But I believe there's a patch to disable GS and play MP, not sure if it's for CS though. The Singleplayer is amazing, even if there is no Co-op, still one of the greatest games/game series to have ever been made.

I have been playing the Stalker franchise for years and have never touched the multiplayer. The focus of the game is to provide a very engaging and immersive experience in "The Zone". The game provides this experience in a unique way unlike any other game ever has.
On the contrary, the multiplayer is more or less the typical arena deathmatch that developers make so they can advertise their primarily singleplayer game as having multiplayer support(a common tactic of many game developers).

If you are looking for a great game, albeit limited to singleplayer, you are in for a real treat. However if it is multiplayer/Co-op you are looking for, there are much better choices out there.
