Can't find artifact in swamp.

Hello fellow stalkers, I have problem to find artifact in fault anomaly near machine yard. My detector pointing that there is artifact but I just can't find it. I'm searching this place for 15 mins and died like 20x and still can't find it.

I would appreciate any help.

lol, ur lucky, i cannot even get my detector out in the hand, game just refuse it for some reason, damn it :(

Do you have one equipped? Should show above your armor in the inventory window.
Also cant take out detector if you have a rifle (or other 2 handed wep) in your hand. Holster it and try again.

Do you hear the specific sound of the artifact becoming visible?
Get closer to the artifact, put your detector away, wait 10 secs or so for it to disappear then take out your detector again, you should hear something and see the flashing.

Already picked few artifacts and they always pop up after I reached right spot so why this one is invisible for me. I'm going to try it again.

Found this vid http://youtu.be/rrPxvyTq1Y8?t=3m11s im at same place like this guy but my artifact isn't here it's on detector and I can hear that beeping but that's all.. :(
By the way that artifact is moving on my detector.

This game does have it's share of bugs. Maybe you're just unlucky :(

I found this: (In Fault anomaly just northwest of the Machine yard. Note: the artifact can become lodged in one of the fissures, exit the anomaly field and return (sometimes works) or use a shotgun to dislodge the artifact.)

ive had the same issue at this anomaly before as well. almost like its stuck in the ground.

More of under the ground, since this only happens in places that have ground consisting of several layers.

quicksave, quickload, then take out detector. The artifact should be above ground now.
