S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky

Mini-Mod: "Human Movement Speed"
In both SoC and CS, by default the player can move REALLY fast. So fast, in fact, that he is able to outrun most mutants, and breeze through areas without actually engaging in any of the encounters! This was possibly done in SoC once vehicles were cut from the game -- the developers thought perhaps that walking at a more "normal" pace through the Zone would be boring.

Well, I actually enjoy the feeling of hiking through the rain, constantly weary of danger, knowing that running away at 50km/h is not an option! So, I've modded the player movement to be more like the NPC humans. Here's how:

Change the following parameters in "gamedata/config/creatures/actor.ltx":
crouch_coef = 0.45 ; 0.30 ;0.45 climb_coef = 0.7 ; 0.8 ; 0.7 run_coef = 1.7 ; 2.0 ;2.1 sprint_koef = 1.9 ; 1.9 ;2.6 run_back_coef = 1.0 ; 1.8 walk_back_coef = 0.5 ; 0.8 air_control_param = 0.1 walk_accel = 11; 18.1 ;17

Beware of the Exoskeleton with these movement modifiers -- without being able to sprint, the Exoskeleton really does turn you into a slow tank!
