What Mod should I start with?

I just got Clear Sky from GoG but I've heard it's the worst and buggiest in the series. Any recommendations on what Mod to get to fix the bugs or improve gameplay experience?

Clear Sky is not the worst and it does not have any game breaking bugs (they have been fixed by patches long ago).
The only notable bugs in vanilla are connected to faction wars and repeatable random quests that have no significance (because the quests are repeatable and will come back on again).
Actually its the Complete mod that introduces some more serious bugs for some people, the irony.
I suggest trying vanilla first. If your PC cannot handle it and you get crashes, or if you find it too hardcore, then try Complete, it mellows the game quite a bit and the hardware requirements are lower too.

I read Clear Sky Complete makes the game way too easy. Have you had any experience with the Sky Reclamation Project? If not, I guess I'll just play Vanilla.

I use SRP and think it's great. Never played vanilla or Complete so I can't compare them but I'm having a blast. If this is the worst of the three I can't wait to play the others

It's my favorite of the 3, and it's the hardest of the 3. Played vanilla on Master and was seriously about to rage quit on the last 2 levels.

Anyway, I play vanilla with Absolute Nature 2 and Absolute Structures 2. If I'm feeling like doing a playthrough where i want to particpate in the faction wars, I use Complete Mod. The Complete mod fixed quite a few things in the Faction Wars. I actually enjoy playing them.

play on the hardest level without mods for the best slow play

mods will make the game too easy

SRP to fix bugs and Atmosfear, Absolute Nature and Absolute Structures for better visuals. Wouldnt recommend complete makes game far to easy.

Just took out 35 hours of Faction Wars mod until i have done pretty much everything one can do.

Feel so exhausted - but happy.

If you're still having too many problems with the version of SRP you have I would try version 1.06. It really fixed it for me. And recommend it for everyone.
Do not get Complete. It is overrated and outdated. If you want a easier game there are some optional mods with SRP you can use as well.
