Scar After Clear Sky (SPOILERS)
So what do you guys think happened to him after the game? I personally don't see why people say he is Charon for having simply a Vintar. Which is quite common in the zone and even the stalker in the beginning of SoC has one.

It seems like Scar's ability to survive emissions probably might have saved him but maybe slowly made him paralyzed or perhaps a bit insane. Perhaps he would unfortunately meet his end on his way to the clear sky base and might die or lose sanity in the swamps where he would first get his abilities.

Also seems likely that he would have heard the rumors of the doctor and went to seek him out to live.

Very late to the game but I just discovered that by pressing <Esc> when the final cutscene is shown (when stalkers are leaning against the wall), you get to continue the game by walking along the ground to leave the CNPP back to Limansk. I assume that means he's alive as of the third large emission. I was only using the SRP mod, which I don't think affects the plot at all.

You see, I used to believe that Scar was the "Marked one" Since I started this series after Clear Sky, because, I thought that Strelok was killed at the end of the game, and, nobody recognizes you in Shadow Of Chernobyl. But then I saw the cut scenes in the game, and he didn't look like Scar. So, my theory is that Scar may have survived, and either became one of the monolithians, or just left the zone, or started working for the Scientists as a merc? Eh... *Shrugs* Maybe he was one of the brainwashed fools at the very end of the game.

The reason no one recognizes Strelok in SoC is because he always wore his SEVA, he never took his helmet off because he was being hunted constantly by Clear Sky and Scar, and despite himself tried to stay off the radar as best as he could to prevent them catching up to him. It's why Scar ends up chasing down Strelok's group to gain a lead on him as they are less subtle about their dealings with the other factions in the zone.

So when he's brought back on the death truck without his memory, no one knew his face, just his name. From the ending of Clear Sky it's heavily implied Scar was simply brainwashed like the monolithians and either indoctrinated or sent back in a death truck.

I only mention this because I noticed a lack of it here. Monolithians have their names changed whenever they become indoctrinated, the cult leader that is killed in CoP may very well be scar. After all he does have a broken down variant of the Gauss Rifle, which would make sense given Clear Sky's events.

I don’t think strelok had a SP-99 suit he always wore a sunrise suit I think no one knew him because of the time gap between CS and SHOC however I really like your theory with COP

It's mentioned in ShoC that whenever he would talk to other people he always wore a helmet that covered his face, and his gear always seems to comprise of a modified seva that has had the helmet removed from the lot, not a sunrise. Wiki credits this too as he's always seen with the suit but without the helmet. The cinematics at the end of the game and the CoP model supports this. Wiki has him listed using it as well.
Strelok is a mysterious dude. I dont think anyone really has the answers. I think that his presence and being is more symbolic than just a single entity. Hes almost like a ghost really.
