Worth playing today?

I'm currently playing Stalker Call of Pripyat for the 3rd time, love the game even if it's pretty janky. I've played the original Stalker some but didn't get very far. Is Clear Sky worth playing? I've heard it's buggy to the point of unplayable, but that was like a decade ago. Thoughts?

Its still as buggy as you heard it, there is a fan patch that fixes most of the bugs though.

As for if its worth playing, up to you tbh, its more shooting oriented than even the first game with a few caveats, if you didnt like SoC then you prolly wont like Clear Sky.

I'm not sure if I like SoC, it's been so long. I just like CoP because it's pretty straightforward/refined-feeling. I'm fine with shooting stuff, obviously, but the exploration and quests are the main draw for me.

there still exploration, but there are more combat and factions management, liked it but you have to upgrade weapons or they shoot randomly

Interesting. Okay after I finish CoP I'll patch and try Clear Sky.

the game is pretty buggy but even unmodded most of the time simply quickloading will fix it. the only time I had close to game breaking bugs was when I beat the game as a bandit, I don't think they anticipated people doing that, it was a fun challenge though.

Sure it's worth it, give it a try
It has the best graphics among all three games, good atmosphere, actually pretty good artifacts if combined right you won't need medpack or bandages

Im currently unable to continue the main mission as the game keeps crashing in one specific area. Its not immediatelly but like 2 - 3 minutes in the area and it crashes..

really a shame because I was enjoying it a lot. (Garbage Crash)
