How do you sleep / spend the night?

Just how, and possibly where?
There are beds but no tavern in the swamps

Thanks mate for clearing this noob question for me!
Are there any console commands that I could use? Could not find a list of available commands :/ and will not trust that modding would be viable method on this linux box but then again, I haven't taken a look how you should mod this game.
