"Hold the point until help arrives" glitched?

[I have headaches]

So I was doing the kill all people in the flea market mission for yoga but all my men died so the game said to hold the point until help arrives, I have been waiting there for more than one in game day and still am, any advice?

Managed to figure it out, I just loaded an old save and did my best to keep one of the bandits alive and it worked.

you could always just get there before the allied squad so by the time they get there it's captured.

I'm using the Clear Sky Completed mod. It's supposed to have SRP in it too. Can recommend it.

I had this problem in Great Swamps against Renegades. It is not a glith. You should ask people in Fishing Hamlet how you can help them. They will ask you for some stuff like grenades and bullets, or a jacket. Those are like side quests but just after you bring them the stuff they asked for, just follow those men because they will immediately start moving towards the church, defend there against the attack which coming from south east. After that without waiting, they will attack that target point which is the gate to the cordon, the mission itself. You will fight with them against Renegades.
For those items the guys in Fishing Hamlet asked you, you need to go north and attack all the Renegade camps and bases etc and you will collect the bullets and grenades from their loots and dead bodies. When you return the goods, action will start.

DO NOT restart your game. Here is how to fix it.
There are friendly squads near the location you need to capture and wait for help to arrive. These units WILL NOT move if you have taken a side-quest from someone in that squad, because the game wants this person to stay in the same spot until you fulfill the quest. So, to fix it:
Check your map and locate the a squad near the capture point. Visit the squad(s) and figure out which one gave you a quest. Do the quest, and when you turn it in, they will immediately begin moving to the capture point.
I was stuck on this for ages and nothing else worked, so I thought maybe doing this guy's quest would do the trick, and it did.
