Game wont start

So the game has worked before, now i simply get the splash screen and then steam says im just online. Thats it. Same thing over and over. I use clear sky complete on windows 10. Any tips?

but the game won't start at all. clear sky complete ran PERFECTLY for a while and one day i boot it up and it constantly crashes on the splash screen. it's ridiculous

one mroe thing. i downloaded a patch for the game and it says it can't find the game even though it is clearly installed. i even uninstalled and reinstalled, nothing happened.

Got to your Steamapps Clear Sky Folder and see is the DirectX installer is there, try running the DXSETUP.exe in there. If it doesn't work (mine that steam downloaded wouldn't) try the original files I have uploaded here:

thanks. also i had problems with resolution for shadow of chernobyl but after i got my drivers updated it suddenly worked. SoC is the only stalker game i've never played until now.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥...clear sky works and so does shadow of chernobyl and CoP. ALL 3 GAMES FINALLY FUNCTION. i usually dont have internet but since i use my phone as a router and updated my drivers and used that DX install you sent, it all worked out, amazingly. thanks for the help mate.
