Same lol, it's always funny when obvious nu-fans whose first game was RE4 back in 2005 accuse you of being "casual RE fan" when you've been with the series since it's Playstation 1 days. They can't wrap their brain around someone not loving RE4 as the best game ever made.

I'm going to be a weird one in this situation, in that I played most everything since the PS1 days, but didn't could enjoy them because of the tank controls and fixed camera, though I did try to play RE1, 2, and 3. Loved everything else about them though and it wasn't till RE4 where the gameplay hit a point I could really enjoy it and it was my favorite for years.

I also don't think it's fair to call people who got into the series with RE4 as "nu-fans", when we are talking about a game that is nearly 20 years old at this point lol Fans are fans, no matter when someone got into it. The "true RE fan" talk that gets thrown around a lot around here is always pretty cringe, which I'm not saying you are doing, but it's cropped up a lot around here and it's just sad to see people be bad fanboys like that.

I consider RE7 to be closer to the original RE feeling than RE 4, 5 and 6.
