Also, Assignment Ada was a fun little mini-game, but ultimately non-canon, whereas Separate Ways is very much a part of the (canon) story of the main game.
I'm not going to tell anyone to buy or not to buy, but I do think it's important to make an informed decision, either way.

All of which were later releases that built on the initial release to the public.
If anything, that's like DLC before DLC as we know it now; Capcom and Resident Evil are not the only gaming company/franchise to release later (updated) versions at a later date--Square did this with all three of the initial Kingdom Hearts titles, for example.
Whoever they are, don't listen to them.
Spend your own money as you see fit.
...huh...so like I said before, that almost sounds like what we would now think of as "extra content" or "DLC," back before PC streaming was a thing.
"No excuses for why I can't have it free!"
Other than reality, but ok. On that note...
Well, actually it is, but again, ok.
Yes, I'm aware of what "DLC" stands for. You are aware that "downloadable content" was literally impossible back on the Gamecube and PS2, right? It requires this thing called the Internet?
My point was that it was still extra/additional content that carried...surprise! An additional price tag because it wasn't included in the original version(s) of the game.
Again, Square Enix did the very same thing with the Remakes/Remixes of the initial three Kingdom Hearts games. This isn't something that Capcom alone has traditionally done.
Look, I might disagree with the Chief here, but you take that back or I'm throwing you into Luigi's Mansion without a flashlight!
I only have it on Gamecube...
Um, everyone who loves Resident Evil?
Ok, but that still doesn't negate the fact that people who loved the franchise long before 2005...played RE4 on the Gamecube first.
