Has the Fish Farm infinite Viper spawn been patched?

Where you don't pick up the merchant viper selling quest and you hit low health in the fish farm, vipers keep spawning, if you don't heal and go back and forth the vipers were infinite. Maybe it only worked on Standard difficulty and below?

Could you kill all the enemies and pick up the gas? Kill them all and not pick up the gas? Or could you do neither?

How did they patch it without an update if they did patch it. I wanted to make the Handcannon unlock easier.

Dunno, saw a vid explaining that the vipers spawned indefinitely if you had a very low HP at the fish farm. Which in turn you could sell, or stock up for later.

I'm playing in aPs5. But I have a feeling this doesn't work if you're on professional. Something to do with rng giving fewer resources, etc .
I'm trying it, but they do stop spawning after 4. I'll keep trying and I'll come back if something changes. But so far, I've tried 2 different times. I've time I killed everyone. The second time I left one zombie alive.
Same outcome. I guess I'll try leaving everyone alive, or killing very few.

i know there atleast 4 in the fish farm
and yes you can kill all enemies
