so much scrapped from the Castle beginning?

oh guys, no this is no hate topic or from OG hates Remake, no worries, i consume every minute of the Remake and so far im just disappointed about having the cable car section removed, im now in Chapter 7 in the castle and in the great hall where you have to protect Ashley, sadly my job calls me and i need to pause and dont want to spoil myself but i just didnt want to forget it and remember a whole section before you see Salazar first you had some more sections with the cultists, oh man.... i smell more cut sections? i mean it means less enemies, less action :/ (yeah RE4 is Action ;)). i love the fighting in RE4 and also the cultists secctions were kinda frightening, would be pretty bad if this doesnt get extended later but is just cut out... oh and it seems the transformation where the head is scrapped behind and the parasite is coming out is not in here? i just see 1 transformation, in RE4 OG there was this nasty parasite where the head was still attached back on the cultist).

Cable car was a cool minute taken from the game but they added lots of other cool stuff at least.

The village was expanded but the castle was almost entirely remade. You can tell they had a different philosophy for each of the 3 acts.
For every room in the castle they removed, they added a new one in their place though (with thematic callbacks to the original rooms, like the swords, the dining table, Leon trapped in a cage, etc). It's the most changed section.

That's one bit I missed was the OG cage with the blind blade gauntlet guy but that fight is entirely a cutscene and without gauntlet guy.

I would say the castle is much larger now. The courtyard offers more room and spreads to more areas

there is more going on before coming to the entrance hall of Salazar which includes of course more confrontations with enemies.

The new castle is great. This is where the original RE4 took a nose dive for me and now it's fixed.
