Minecart ride because it's just mindless set piece with nothing much going for it.
Ashley in the same way I don't like beneviento in re village. It's not particularly scary or engaging gameplay-wise. And a complete boring hassle on repeat playthroughs. Too be fair, I don't like the ashley section in both remake and original, but at least in original, it doesn't drag on for too long.
lol Resident evil roller coaster was one of my favorite parts.
I dunno, it just felt kind of short and bland.
Village and Castle were ok, but the castle could have used a few more Garradors. (They felt kinda unique in the way you had to deal with them)
I can agree with this. I was so sick of the baby fetus section by the time I hit my 5th playthrough in village.
I think Ashley's section is pretty good in the remake, but definitely not that fun on repeat playthroughs. I also dislike it extra on professional because no auto saves and everything is a one-hit kill.
I wonder is it viable to climb the tower and sit there on professional? I know that if you climb the ladder and don't move at ALL on standard the floor will not collapse and you can wait out the entire fight
Original regen section definitely scarier. I don't think they bit me once because I always had a knife with me to get out of it so alot of the tension was missing. And when it comes to scare factor Getting eaten > getting slapped.
The 3 area gauntlet w/ Mike + the last automated turret section+ there are bugs waiting to pounce on you + that pointless slow walk carrying Ashley
Reminds me of the river of the dead in MGS3.
Amen, it's particularly frustrating if trying for S+ because you can see your precious time ticking away while Leon slowly drags Ashley to the lab.
Should have been a cut-scene, making it playable added nothing except irritation.
True, this room can be an actual nightmare if you don't use the environment traps to your advantage or do what you suggested. I sat at the beginning and let them all funnel through the chokepoint on pro - think I used more ammo than I did in any other section of the game in that one room.
This was definitely a "...What are we doing here Capcom?" moment for me
