Softlock at the island Ashley Regenerator bridge section

Started the chase with the regenerator after shooting four ganados trying to kidnap Ashley.

Got to the bridge, one of them had picked up Ashley and was carrying her away so now I can't cross to the other side. Shot the ganado carrying her and apparently Ashley as well with the Punisher, she was incapacitated and refused to get up.

Ran in circles avoiding the regenerator for a few minutes, Ashley would not get up from being incapped and I swear I've seen her get up on her own before, so not sure why she didn't here.

I restarted and just did the section again.

Probably because Ashley can only self revive when out of combat. This is to prevent player from running too far away from Ashley, causing room loading bug.

Ashley only gets up when not in combat, you shouldve killed the regenerator

Turn on power, stay put, kill the few enemys that come around the corner to ashley, wait a little, some more come.

Then run and ignore the regen, when you get near the bridge a final enemy will spawn to grab ashley, shoot him. Then shoot the regen.

Ashley will hold the bridge and you will run across.

Ashley will drop the bridge when the regen is on it.

Done

This regenerator is not optional, you must kill him yes or yes, even if Ashley is not hurt, she will still cling to the wheel that goes up the bridge and will not let go until you kill that enemy, the best option is to shoot the enemies from the fence near you Ashley, (they will come in 2 rounds) then go out into the hallway for the regenerator to spawn and deal with him, you have plenty of space here, use the hallways and keep your distance.

You dont have to kill it. Ashley will drop the bridge once ur past and the regen will fall

In my 1st and 2nd round (normal and hardcore) I crossed the bridge with the live regenerator and she was still there without letting go of the mechanism, I'm playing on ps5 and it's like that, I guarantee it, maybe it's different on pc?

I can confirm that Ashley will drop the Regenerador when it stands on the bridge, will even comment on it.

Ok, maybe that's the way it is and there's a bug with that on ps5, I'm in my 5th round in pro to get S+ rank, when I get there I'll try and see what happens.

OK, I know what happened to me, I've always left the regenerator far behind so I didn't give it a chance for Ashely to knock it down, I would come back and kill it when I saw that she didn't release the lever, I'll try it in my next game.
