chicago sweeper and Handcannon are bad af
i love the remake and most of the weapons, but chicago sweeper and handcannon are not good.
The sweeper spread af cause of very bad precision, not as a half so good as in OG.
The Handcannon does lesser dmg (one shot not over time) then full up butterfly and had lesser precision as it too... WTF.
I dont cry, but i´m sad about this. its no more fun to play with this weapons i worked hard for...

i got cat ears and use them with "normal" weapons, cause bonus weapons are crap, as i told you.
but it´s sad anyways.

Dunno man. Handcannon still deletes what it can hit judging by the stats (still gets 99 power on exclusive, so.... ouch?).
Sweeper is an SMG so yeah, if you hold the trigger rather than shooting in bursts, it will not be precise.

I find this is more like adjusted balancing to offset the major advantages of those bonus-weapons a bit. No big deal.

Handcannon has no 99dmg excluse, its unlimited ammo. dmg is 36, butterfly has 40.

yes smg spreads, but its a special bonus weapon, so its not problem to make spread same or lesser as tmp with shoulder item or assault rifle.

All hail the new king of Magnums Killer 7 with Cat ears. It was always the cultured choice in RE4, but now it's just outright the best. BB is too unwieldy to be worth using even at high power and K7 has that crit to compensate.

The sweeper is pretty good. Horrible for enemies at a distance, but fully upgraded it does 2 damage per bullet and has infinite ammo. You can still hit enemies at a distance with its firing rate. Handcannon though... it's irredeemably bad. Its only redeeming feature is the infinite ammo and... if you have the cat ears it's quite literally worse than the Broken Butterfly in every single way. But the Killer 7 is really the only Magnum worth using this time around.

Well, the Mercenaries mode has made it a lot easier to unlock the handcannon. I guess it can be used for the village part if you're going for an S+ run on professional to get a few easy kills if you're having trouble getting past that point (I thought it was hellish and didn't get the handcannon until after I got S+ on pro). And well, you can make S+ on pro even easier if you also purchase an exclusive ticket DLC so you can get infinite ammo by the time you meet the merchant in chapter 2, rather than the castle. And it also saves you some time since you won't need to do quests to get enough spinels to afford an exclusive ticket by that time.

Personally I only used them until I got infinite ammo. Hand canno feels incredibly pointless when you got a fully upgraded riot gun that can basically do the same and somehow more accurate. That said Chicago type writer absolutely made krauser trivial because you can just keep aiming for his leg and he'll just stand there for 10 second until he dies.

Of course once you get infinite ammo you can just use that rapid fire sniper rifle that does nearly 5 per shot and 15 for a shot on a weak spot. Quite frankly it demolishes any other machine gun in the game. Probably has the highest DPS outside of the rocket launcher.

the bonus on the bonus weapons is unlimited ammo.
they are not specifically powerful or good to hit targets with.
obvs there is cat ears but without cat ears those would have still a use as UA weapons.

but yes Cat Ears basically makes them just bad in comparison with most other weapons.
alwyas used the chicago in the original because of it's rate of fire and precision but since there no laser on the chicago now

I guess with the Cat Ears, they didn't want the bonus weapons to outshine everything else too much and just wanted them to be aids on the road to S+, at least this way once you have everything you can still play around with other weapons without worrying about ammo, keeping the variety between runs, were in the original every run just became Chicago Typewriter, Handcannon and Infinite Rocket Launcher.

Chicago in the original was probably too good lol... Here is probably much weaker from what i saw (didn't unlocked it). Same goes for handcannon... In the original it was a revolver with almost rocket launcher's power lol. Honestly tho I'm not a fan of making every weapons infinite... Kinda boring.. I prefer where only few special weapons have access to infinite ammo. Didn't like this approach in re5 either
