You know what? Fair enough.
I never had much problem using it. Only issue is that, like most shotguns in RE engine games, it basically has to be used like a melee weapon.
The real selling point of it is that it's extremely small in terms of inventory space. If you want or need a shotgun, but don't have room for one with your current setup(which is very likely if you use the red9 and tmp with stocks, combined with a rifle and a magnum), it has a use. Even unupgraded, a shotgun is very useful for knockbacks, stuns, and shields.
True but for some reason the skull shaker imho is even more of a melee weapon than the starter shotgun. You can use the starter to clear the cabin pretty fast... but using the skull shaker .. it often results in me getting grabbed because these 2 shots can't clear hoarded up enemies as good.
Or the medallion area after knife tutorial. Reloading got me killed more than one time there. Sure it's a skill issue.. me not being able to adept to it's weakness.
Just saying that it isn't really worth the money imho. Yet alone because I like the riot gun so much and you get it quite early here.
So you'd have to actually pirate the DLC somehow which we can't even talk about here, no trainer can do it because the weapons aren't even included with the game files, or at least whatever files are needed for them to work.
Anyway, it's a pretty fun gun to empty on a manbearpig man's face, but still not better than the Riot Gun.
Shame about the sh**ty day 1 DLC practices carving out of the main game a shotty that feels like it fits right in and should have been something you discover in the game world in the village or castle.
