Sentinel Nine is a very good weapon

When you get the exclusive upgrade you can kill a lot of ganados in 2-3 shots on professional. Also phenomenal magazine size and compatible with the laser pointer. If you didn’t give this gun a chance I would recommend.

Punisher still better though.

Sentinel Nine or the Starter Pistol will probably be my pick for my first NG+ game. Going to swap out all the current weapons next round and store them to try out other options. Probably get the Laser Sight before this first round is over if I have any spare after getting the 30 spinel ticket.

Good vs groups + Would shielded enemies, bad vs individual enemies. Probably decent for being the most ammo efficient most of the game.

I tried maxing Sentinel Nine out vs Blacktail, overall Blacktail does have a bit of power and fire rate but I think Sentinel Nine takes the mag size? I did buy it yesterday for nearly $2 and I'm hoping to try it out instead of Red9

I just beat the game with the Red9, because that pistol will always the GOAT.

Looking to do NG+ with modern weapons. I really want to know which one is better between the Sentinel Nine, Punisher or Blacktail. I remember in the OG RE4, Punisher was was really good up until the later Castle. The Blacktail was the closest to Red9 in overall power. I never got to try the Sentinel Nine all the way because I replaced it once the Red9 was available.

Honestly, no. It has it's niche uses though. It's great against wooden shields and can kind of do the trick against spider body snatchers. But other piercing or knockback weapons might do those jobs better anyway and help you use pistol ammo more wisely.

punisher is down there with blacktail, crits or raw damage is all you need on handguns, punisher is too niche and straight up terrible in boss fights, red9 or any of the 2 crit handguns is all you will ever need

I personally find the handling on the punisher to be incredible, with quite good power too. Is it all in my head? Perhaps
